Your Own Influence

The biggest influence, other than my parents is my old piano teacher. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was my first piano teacher and she taught me a lot of which I have learned about piano. She gave the basics and then she made progress into very serious & challenging music. She helped me progress in my music and now she is a teacher at a Florida University. I give her the credit for teaching me the music skills I have learned and progressed. She, herself is a great piano player with much talent. She has motivated me so much to continue in the musical arts, such as piano, choir, and our school musical. Musical classes have been a “snap” since I started piano, and my teacher deserves to be recognized in here musical talents.

Ahh. I agree. Music teachers have big influences on us. For me, its Ms.B. You, your piano teacher. They help us so much in learning new things and push us to try and keep practicing. They really do help us and help us keep music in our lives. I dont know what I would be doing without Ms.B. School musicals too, eh? Too bad not this year! Now I all alone! The only one on the team…

I understand what you mean by piano teacher’s influencing you. A teacher can make ALL the difference in your style of playing. I know that I had a pretty mediocre teacher for my first three years … but the last four I’ve had a really amazing teacher, and my playing has improved so much. I think it would be interesting to hear you play! Really original idea for a blog post. Your influental person is really creative!
